Loreal Donovan (She/Her/Hers), MA, LPC, NCC

“My name is Loreal (She/Her/Hers) and I am the Owner/Clinician at Connection Mental Health Counseling. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Certificate in Child Advocacy and Policy from Montclair State University and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Caldwell University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in NJ and a Nationally Certified Counselor. In early 2022 I trained with Deany Laliotis at The Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy. I am working towards becoming a Certified EMDR Therapist through EMDRIA. During my 6 years of experience in the mental health field, I have worked with clients ages 6+ in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient private practice settings. In addition to my love of being a therapist, I love being in nature- hiking, bike rides, kayaking, gardening, and boating to name a few. If I am indoors I like reading and all things arts and crafts. I mostly love doing these activities with my spouse, child, pups, family, and friends.”
